Bedwell Homes was established in 1969 by Dean Bedwell, who started building homes on a whim. Dean quickly found a niche for building custom, high-end, luxury homes in some of Amarillo's most prestigious neighborhoods. He also worked on several developments and spec homes in the area.

Barry Bedwell, Dean's son, graduated from Howard Payne University in 1991 and joined Bedwell Homes that same year. Dean and Barry worked alongside each other, building a legacy that centers on trust and constructing some of the area's most beautiful homes. Dean retired in 2012 but can still be found at the office most days.

Barry continues to build on the legacy his father started over 50 years ago. He works with clients across the Panhandle and beyond, and has developed a true talent for bringing the visions of his clients to life. Barry focuses primarily on custom home design and the construction of amazing farm and ranch homes. From the rim of the Palo Duro Canyon to the middle of some of the largest ranches in the area, Barry's work spans a multi-state area and each home is unique.
